Three-time Ironman world champion Craig “Crowie” Alexander announced his retirement from the Ironman distance after finishing fifth at the 2014 Ironman Asia-Pacific Championships on Sunday, March 23. Alexander’s Ironman accolades, along with two wins at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship, earned him the third place on Triathlete’s list of The 25 Greatest Male Triathletes Of All Time.
