Missing La Jolla Swimmer Found, Arrested In Yuma
The man who reportedly went missing on Saturday, Feb. 26 while swimming at La Jolla Shores in La Jolla, Calif. was arrested in Yuma, Ariz. on Wednesday, March 2.

The man who reportedly went missing on Saturday, Feb. 26 while swimming at La Jolla Shores in La Jolla, Calif. was arrested in Yuma, Ariz. on Wednesday, March 2.
Jim Repetto, 54, had gone swimming at La Jolla Shores near Scripps Pier on Saturday evening. When he didn’t return, a female friend of his reported him missing. Repetto had donned a wetsuit, but it was not clear if he ever actually entered the water.
When Repetto was found in Yuma, he was en-route to Mexico, where he reportedly told a friend he knew of places a person could go to disappear. Repetto was arrested on a fugitive warrant.
