As he has done in years past, American Matt Reed will race in both the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon in Minneapolis, Minn. and the Boulder Peak Triathlon in Boulder, Colo. Reed will compete in the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon on July 10 and then travel home to Boulder, Colo. and race in the Boulder Peak Triathlon the next day on July 11.

Both are approximately Olympic-distance triathlons (the Boulder Peak Triathlon features a 42km bike leg).

Reed attempted this double in 2009, winning the race in Minneapolis and then dropping out on the run in the Boulder Peak Triathlon.

Check back to Competitor.com for coverage of both of these races.
