Kyrsten Sinema is soon to be a senator for the state of Arizona, but she’s also a runner and triathlete. After a busy campaign season, Sinema stopped by the inaugural Outspoken: Women in Triathlon Summit to talk about her path into triathlon and inspire the attendees to implement meaningful change. We caught up with the senator-elect after her speech to talk about the role of triathlon in her life, how she thinks our sport can overcome certain challenges, and her lofty multisport goals for the future.
