2010 USAT Rookie of the Year will conduct an online chat with fans as she preps for her next race in Madrid.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — In advance of the Madrid stop of the 2011 ITU World Championship Series, USA Triathlon Project 2012 program member Gwen Jorgensen will be available for an online chat on Wednesday, May 25 at 6 p.m. Mountain at usatriathlon.org.
Visit usatriathlon.org to join in the chat or sign up for an email reminder in advance. Fans also are encouraged to submit questions ahead of time on USA Triathlon’s Facebook page or by sending questions via Twitter with the tag #USATCHAT.
The 2010 USA Triathlon Rookie of the Year, Jorgensen (Milwaukee, Wis.) will make her ITU World Championship Series debut Sunday, June 5 in Madrid, Spain. The former standout swimmer and runner at the University of Wisconsin is coming off a fifth-place finish at the Monterrey ITU World Cup on May 8. In 12 career ITU events, Jorgensen owns nine top-five finishes.
