Formula 1’s 2009 world champion Jenson Button will race in this weekend’s City of Rockingham Triathlon in Western Australia. The racecar driver is known for using triathlon to help him keep his off-season fitness.
Event organizers have confirmed the popular McLaren Mercedes driver, who finished fifth in this year’s driver standings, will line up for the triathlon.
Button will compete alongside his girlfriend, model Jessica Michibata, over the course, which consists of a 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run.
