Janelle Morrison Is On The Road To Recovery

After surviving a car accident that nearly took her life, Canadian Janelle Morrison is back training and is making a documentary about her journey to recovery.

Though she likely won’t be on the race circuit again until next year, she is recovering from her final surgeries and training to get back on her game.

“I credit the support I have had — the support from Calgary and where I live now in Penticton, was phenomenal,” she said.

“I have definitely had to learn a degree of patience — I have also learned nobody does something alone.”

Surviving the crash has given her renewed passion to achieve her goal and her story has even sparked a documentary by Kelly Brothers Productions about her recovery process called “A Second Chance”.
