It is with deep regret that ITU has learned of the death of Warwick John White, a member of Ecuadorian age group team.  White, a native of New Zealand, who competed in the 45-49 Age Group of the ITU Sprint Triathlon World Championship, was murdered in Budapest in the early hours of the morning on September 12th.

The entire triathlon family wish to express our deepest sympathy to his family, friends and the Federación Ecuatoriana de Triatlón.
