In reconfirming its commitment to serving as the world’s leading triathlon resource and driver of the sport’s growth, Competitor Group Inc., publishers of Triathlete and Inside Triathlon magazines, today announced the company’s strategic decision to cease production of Inside Triathlon. The move reflects a deeper dedication to building the Triathlete brand and a rechanneling of resources for the development of new initiatives and special projects, both digital and with print. The award-winning editorial team will turn a collective focus on creating innovative products that meet the demands of our growing audience—from special issues catering to the female and youth demographics (two fast-growing segments in the sport) to digital products that offer more interactive features than ever before. The editorial team remains committed to catering to the Inside Triathlon reader with content that speaks to their specific interests and ability level. Additionally, an enhanced focus on the Triathlete brand will enable our editors to engage in more strategic industry partnerships that deliver significant added value to our audience.
With the arrival of the final March/April issue of Inside Triathlon to mailboxes, subscribers will automatically begin receiving Triathlete, and existing subscribers will have their subscriptions extended.
