Pro triathlete Heather Jackson’s mom, Diane, shows the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as she preps to run the Boston Marathon on Monday.
“We’re not talking speed here, but boy I’m persistent.”
Diane Jackson certainly is persistent, and the 56-year-old from Exeter, Mass. is taking to the roads from Hopkinton to Boston in the 115th running of the Boston Marathon on Monday.
