The City of Split in Croatia will be host to the latest addition to the TriStar calendar on September 18.
This September, the historic city of Split, Croatia will serve as the site of the latest TriStar 111 race , a unique competition featuring a 1K swim, a 100K bike, and a 10K run. During the event, athletes will race through scenic spots around the historic center of Split, including its strolling promenade, just a stone’s throw away from the famous Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace.
“We’re proud to host an international triathlon event in our historic city. Split is one of the sportiest cities, and we’re looking forward [to growing] triathlon in the region,” says Ivan Pavic, general secretary of the co-organizer Triathlon Klub Split, and board member and technical director of the Croatian Triathlon Federation.
