Heather Fuhr, an Ironman world champion turned trail runner, joins Bob Babbitt and Paul Huddle on this edition of Competitor Radio. Fuhr will be one of many triathlon stars attending this weekend’s Endurance LIVE event in San Diego, Calif.

Fuhr has won 25 Ironman titles around the world and the 1997 Ironman World Championship. So what does she do for fun nowadays? She ‘dabbles’ in trail running… and she’s a helluva dabbler. She won the Catalina Marathon back in March and broke the women’s course record. In December, she finished second overall at the Ridgecrest 50K and broke the course record that was set by the legendary Ann Trason. On Jan. 15 she stepped up to the Catalina 50 Miler and once again finished second overall and shattered the course record.
