Former professional triathlete, Ironman winner and 2009 Kona runner-up Chris Lieto has launched a bike training program for triathletes and cyclists.
Master the Bike is a series of training videos features sessions straight from Lieto’s Ironman training journals. The series, which includes five essential workouts, promises to help athletes of all levels build speed, power and endurance. In addition to the training sessions (with two workouts made for the trainer), Master the Bike includes advice for establishing baseline fitness using a threshold test and tips for better bike handling.
“These are the essential workouts every triathlete should do,” Lieto said in a press release. “I took them straight from my Ironman playbook. They worked for me, and they’ll work for you.”
