Brownlee Brothers Compete In Bizarre London Triathlon

The Brownlees took the Emirates Air Line, bus and a rickshaw across the capital, while their opponents swam, cycled and ran.

Olympic medalists Alistair and Jonny Brownlee are best known for dominating the triathlon world but the pair were beaten at their own game in unique fashion.

Noel Carroll, strength and conditioning coach at Arsenal’s academy, and James Heptonstall, a former England touch rugby player, took on the brothers in a race against the London public transport network.

Although, the tables were turned for Alistair and Jonny, as they took the Emirates Air Line, bus and a rickshaw across the capital, while their opponents swam, cycled and ran.
