A young British athlete made a splash doing her first Olympic-distance, at the age of 10.
Lexie Webb, who is a member of Beckenham swimming club, decided to take part in the event to raise money for the British Heart Foundation after her Grandma had a heart operation.
Though Lexie, from Dulwich, had previously taken part in children’s triathlons, it was the first time she had done the Olympic distance, which involves a 1.5km swim, 40km cycle and 10km run.
This was the third time she has taken on a challenge for charity.
