Spend less time on the computer, phone and Internet and get out to surf, golf and mountain bike more.
Do my assignments earlier than the due date, and be an even happier, healthier version of me!
Be the best I can be, in life and in the sport.
Lose the weight I put on from eating chocolate, then be injury-free and have a successful 2014 year of racing.
My New Year’s resolution is to focus on making every opportunity count by ignoring negative distractions.
— Prehab on a daily basis
— Take a vacation with my family (where I am not racing)
— Read at least 30 books — I already have most of them picked out and queued on my Kindle
— Blog at least once a month
— Win everything (who doesn’t like to win?) — including friendly games of Gin Rummy
— Sell 200 Dimond Bikes to 200 of the luckiest triathletes on the planet
— Save over $5,000 in excess luggage fees flying with my Armored Hen House, then invest that money into my son’s 529 college savings plan

To continue working to be the best person I can and want to be both on professional and personal levels; to continue building meaningful relationships with the people I love.

2014 — a year of new beginnings for me. My resolution is to race the way I know how to race. I have gone back to my old coach and moved back to sea level and my goals are simple — race to my ability and see that finish line first. Also, to do my sponsors proud and work with each of them to blend into their marketing strategies and work with them on a corporate level.
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to get back to doing Pilates regularly. I lost a lot of core strength over the last 18 months and now it’s time to get it back.
Clear out all the junk and unused stuff in our house in Brisbane so that the move to Noosa is a lot easier. Big garage sale coming up!
My New Year’s resolution is to run a minimum of 100 kilometers every week through all of February (with my new Garmin).
No more pulling on the lane rope when swimming backstroke.

Learn to glue my own tubulars!
I want to spend more quality time with my wife and son. Between training, racing, Picky Bars and writing, our lives are bonkers. I think I do a decent job, but I’d like to carve out more time to push it all aside and just hang out with my family.
