Age-group athletes ride 56 miles through the mountains during Ironman 70.3 Mallorca. A Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea, Mallorca is a training hotspot for cyclists and triathletes around the world. “The bike course is beautiful in Mallorca,” says this year’s winner, Spaniard Eneko Llanos. “The climb to Femenia is very nice, and the landscape on the top is awesome.” About 3,000 age groupers showed up to race 70.3 Mallorca, which features a one-loop bike course with challenging climbs and descents, all in the midst of a dramatic island landscape.
