Online editor Liz Hichens and Inside Triathlon assistant editor Susan Grant are hitting the open road, bound for the Vineman Ironman 70.3 race in Santa Rosa, Calif. The girls have filled Susan’s car to the brim with all their race gear and they will be trying out a few new products out on the racecourse this Sunday.
While the girls are used to having their dedicated race support crew (read: their husbands) in tow for races, this one will be done Thelma and Louise style, so stay tuned as they make their way up the coast. Will they make it? Will their bikes be unscathed during the 550-mile journey from San Diego? Will Liz be able to handle Susan’s constant pessimism? Who knows! Stay tuned …
