Ten thrilling Grand Final races took place over the weekend in Gold Coast, Australia with several athletes being crowned world champions. Great Britain’s Vicky Holland and Spain’s Mario Mola finished second in each of their respective races to earn the overall series world championship titles. The young stars of our sport were on display with Mexico’s Cecilla Ramirez Alvez and Hungary’s Csongor Lehmann claiming the junior world championship titles, and USA’s Taylor Knibb and New Zealand’s Tayler Reid earning the U23 world titles.
