After three days of unique competition, American Gwen Jorgensen and South African Richard Murray earned the Island House Invitational Triathlon victories.

Day three: The top 10 men and top 10 women with the fastest combined times from the first two days of competition moved on to the third day – a sprint-distance triathlon. Athletes started the race with the time gap to the leaders that had been established over the first two days of racing. That way the first athlete across the line would be the winner.
