Hoka One One Mach

The Draw: Lightweight Cushioning with Tempo Performance

The Mach is filling in some big shoes as the replacement to the Clayton 2—a popular choice on long courses. Good thing Hoka did so with the same geometry but without the arch blisters that plagued both the Clayton and Clayton 2. As part of Hoka’s new three-shoe Fly line, the Mach is the lightest of their performance trainers and features a cleverly engineered mesh upper that uses a tighter medial weave for a more secure fit. The midsole is softer in the heel than the forefoot for rolling cushion and propulsion.
