Thomas’ Dimond is equipped with a Shimano Dura Ace Di2 drivetrain that has been upgraded with CeramicSpeed bearings throughout.

CeramicSpeeds innovative OSPW System replaces that standard cage and pulleys on the Shimano Dura Ace Di2 Rear Derailleur. The massive 17-tooth pulleys reduce drivetrain friction by allowing the chain a more efficient path through the drivetrain.

That’s not powdered sugar! The CeramicSpeed UFO Racing Chain has a special treatment to reduce every last bit of drag possible. While the treatment reportedly only lasts for around 200 mile of use, that will be plenty of time for Thomas to take advantage of its benefits come race day. Also visible is a TriRig Omega X rear brake caliper.

The Dimond Marquise has many innovative design features. Dimond is releasing some new innovations at Kona this year, as seen in the clever storage solution integrated into the beam of Jesse Thomas’s Kona rig.

Thomas will stay hydrated in the lava fields using a Profile Design FC Hydration System. A PowerTap Joule GPS+ Head Unit will deliver power data and other information and easily mounts to the Profile hydration system’s forward computer mount.

Another storage feature being released at Kona is this one located just above the bottom bracket, a perfect location for spares and a repair kit.
