Wahoo’s Elemnt bike computer is packed with all the tech you need.
The new Wahoo Elemnt GPS cycling computer features all of the functionality of high-end counterparts, plus a few cool surprises—all on a simpler-to-use interface. It gets even better: Easy set-up via smartphone will have you on the road in minutes.
Want to know which gear you’re in? The Elemnt pairs with both Shimano Di2 and Sram eTap to display your gearing, as well as how much battery remains in the shift system. When used with Di2, brake hood buttons allow you to use your thumbs to change screens on your device, hit the lap button, and zoom in and out of data fields.
Dual-Band technology allows for communication with both Bluetooth and ANT+ devices, making it easy to sync various speed sensors, power meters, heart-rate monitors, etc.
The Elemnt features QuickLook LED indicators around the bezel, which can be set up to perform a variety of functions. There’s a red notification at the top when a text, e-mail or phone call is being received; a sliding scale from top to bottom (with different colors) offers riders a view of current heart rate, speed, cadence or power; and the light indication on the left or right side serves as turn-by-turn directions.
All of the major settings and computer functions on the Elemnt are configured through a companion smartphone app, making setup a breeze. With this smartphone integration, the Elemnt can also display incoming phone calls, text messages and e-mails so you don’t have to reach for your phone during ride breaks. The Elemnt also links with the major training platforms (Strava, Training Peaks, Garmin Connect and Today’s Plan), providing automatic uploads through the companion app.
