Interbike: Dusted And Dirty Laura Bennett is riding the BMC TMR01 aero road bike. Interbike: Dusted And Dirty This well-integrated front brake is the most unique feature, compared to other aero road bikes. While many tri bikes use something similar, most aero road bikes are built with standard calipers. Interbike: Dusted And Dirty Felt’s new Bayonet aerobar can be propped high above the basebar as a rescue for riders on bikes with a stack height too low to match their fit. Interbike: Dusted And Dirty Two-time Olympic time trial gold medalist Kristin Armstrong showed off the hardware. Interbike: Dusted And Dirty Shimano displayed and demoed their new mechanical and electronic Dura Ace component kits. Interbike: Dusted And Dirty Mountain bikers took laps up the mountain in Boulder City. Interbike: Dusted And Dirty Manufacturers loan an impressive armada of bikes to give dealers a taste of next year’s gear. Interbike: Dusted And Dirty New bike brand Culprit is built upon its brake platform. Their aero road frame Croz Blade can mount disc brakes or V-brakes, although the big component manufacturers aren’t ready to provide road disc brakes. Interbike: Dusted And Dirty The fork and rear triangle both have mounts for disc brakes (by the skewer) and V-brakes (behind the fork crown). Interbike: Dusted And Dirty Rolf Prima’s Elan Alpha Disc is built on a new 22mm-wide clincher rim. The standard road version (not disc, as pictured) weighs just 1315g and, with an Al brake track and wide clincher bed, has all the elements of a really fun everyday wheel. Interbike: Dusted And Dirty Vision Metron TFA aerobar goes against the trend to taller bars. Now that frames are also getting taller, more riders will be able to fit low-profile bars like this one. Interbike: Dusted And Dirty The pads can be elevated small amounts with shims and the extensions can be cut for macro length adjustments, then precisely adjusted to fit with pinch bolts that fix the extensions. Interbike: Dusted And Dirty Felt’s FC frameset can be had custom painted for $2,000, lower than most frames with customizable finish.
